We lack cover at right back. Fern is an experienced guy who knows what it takes to win pressure games. Picking him for this game is not self sabotage.

I’m assuming Kyle is not fully fit and so isn’t an option to pick as a starter. We need to win so we need players at full back who are comfortable going forward. Ake is not that at the level we play at. Zin isn’t any stronger as a defender on current form. So, Fern it is and he will not let us down.

Stones is RB and Fernandinho CB apparently.
