UEFA Independent Inquiry

How are the number of fakes exaggerated. The ground was full, the aisles were full & there was still thousands outside.

the celebrity Liverpool fans & family couldn’t get in cos there QR codes had been used. Why do you really believe the major issue was local youths rather than a small contributor after the major issue.
Someone from the club will have passed these codes on, no doubt about it, and they should be easy enough to find.

Probably get a promotion though.

But journalists are experts on all sorts of subjects. I mean, look how they accurately and presciently reported our FFP case.

A lot of articles out there in the press are lifted from posts and interactions on social media. The likes of the Daily Mail love to pad their news content with cut and shut social media posts that are fluffed up with a few paragraphs to turn it into an article.

Leading up to this final there were plenty of people on Twitter offering forged tickets for sale. It was going on before the FA cup semi final with a well publicised Telegram group of Liverpool supporters bragging about rushing the City end, this was slanted in a way to highlight our so called lack of fans and not the criminal element that will take money off Liverpool fans to leave them in danger outside the Stade De France on Saturday night.

The question is, we could all see those fakes being advertised on Twitter with very little effort. Why can’t a journalist who’s job it is to investigate the facts and report them find these fake tickets that were advertised?

It seems that there must have been fake tickets there but the numbers are vastly exaggerated. The guy from Sky who was outside the whole game called the French liars which is not something that they would normally be alloewd to say. Listen we all have our idiots and when you are successful you get a lot of people jumping on the bandwagon but in this instancethe accusations seem to be well wide of the mark Thanks for not rubbishing my comment and calling me any one of the well worn phrase we see here . I saw my first game in 1960 so not a Johnnny come lately to Liverpool as a supporter and in a few years your clubb will pick up a load of glory hunters as well
So you finally admit that fakes might have been an issue? Very accommodating, given all the evidence on social media to that effect.

And if you're relying on that Sky Kaveh guy as your unimpeachable source, you might be disappointed as his maths isn't too good. Can't tell the difference between £80m & £40m.

I know currently being discussed in both Liverpool and UEFA Champions League final but probably deserves it’s own so that the game and other Liverpool subjects can be discussed.

I think we all know the French are claiming huge amounts of Liverpool fans turned up without tickets.

Liverpool/ British media are claiming this is not the case and they behaved impeccably and a lot of the videos are French youths and not Liverpool fans.

So UEFA have commissioned an independent enquiry by Portuguese MP Dr Tiago Brandao Rodrigues to compile a report on decision making, responsibility and behaviour of all parties.

Hopefully this report will shed light on the issues that caused this as there is no doubt that some innocent fans (including kids and elderly where poorly treated) and it would be good to know the reasons why and hopefully lessons can be learned.
No lessons to be learned here, we all could have told the French what utter cunts the dippers are..!! They need another ban hammer, utter scumbags … !3DBB4232-ADEA-49E2-B857-B571187FD8E5.jpeg

You've made a basic error there in that last paragraph. Journalists, particularly football journalists, don't "investigate the facts".

They need to get as many clicks on their articles as possible (as that's what they're judged on) meaning facts go out of the window if they don't help them meet that objective.

Some say he can’t tell the difference between his arse and his elbow tbf.
