It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

If Sterling goes don’t think we will get a replacement in that position, unlike if Ake goes we Will get a replacement ..

Possibly mate but don’t forget we are losing Jesus and Sterling? Alvarez may take time to settle so for the right side we would only have Mahrez?

Why are they still allowed to make new signings sign when they owe £200m in unpaid and deferred wages to existing and former players? Totally unethical

... and how does that tie into the new FFS rules that all football debts (including player wages) must be paid no more than 15 days late?

Haaland be picked every game he is fit so that takes up one of the places then we have Alcerez Mahrez palmer and even Silva for that position.

We have loads of options…

Grealish has no end product out wide. - Not true at all.

Alvarez a gamble who may not adapt to the PL. - He's the South American player of the year not some nobody we have taken a punt on.

Palmer inexperienced.- Yes he is but that doesn't mean he won't play well.

Mahrez 31.- How is this relevant? He scored 24 goals last season so hardly on his last legs.

With the exception of Foden there is a distinct lack of speed in the wide areas. - Pace is irrelevant as we will be playing against park the bus, low block teams the majority of the time. We have Haaland if we ever get some space to run into.

If Sterling leaves we need to replace him with quality and pace. - I agree we should replace him but depends on who is available.
