It’s a pity that we have a game midweek, as if we’re comfortably ahead, I can see Pep making wholesale changes, as he did in last season’s game.

this idea that they have an injury crisis is deceptive......Shaw and Hojland would have played but the likes of Mount, Martial wouldnt have been anywhere near the starting 11

They are key absentees.

Shaw is their only decent left-sided full-back.

Maguire is injured so they have to decide if Evans plays alongside Varane, so Lindelof plays left back.

Hojland is a miss for them.

Very hard for fans but the players have to take it as just another game, we need the three points, simple as. Pep should have had everyone on target practice this week, nothing else. If we convert more of the chances we have been creating there should be no problem.

Wouldnt want to be Pep picking the side for this one, Some absolute shoe in for me

Eddie, Walker, Stones, Ake, Rodri, KDB, Foden, Haaland.

Leaves 3 spots to fill, Alvarez seems to be the go to guy but Dias, Akanji, Kova, Nunes, Berny and Doku all have a great shout to be in the team as well.

Going to be a tough call.
