pretty sure Pep picks Alvarez, hope if he is picked hope he plays a blinder in deeper role instead of losing duels and losing the ball a lot.
only thing can hurt us is counters from lost balls.

Walker is going to be key in mopping up some of these breaks that they will inevitably get against us.

I don’t like it when we’re so heavily favoured in the derby. United can go out and play (or more likely park the bus and counter) without any real pressure. We need to start fast, can’t afford one of those sleepy first halves like against Everton, Brentford and Chelsea.

They have been far worse than their results, they have been dire but scored late and pulled results from nowhere. We need goals and hopefully a cushion. The longer it goes as a tight game the more they’ll believe they can get a result.

We are much better than them, we need to show it, which means taking our chances and hitting the damn target. Against Chelsea we left the points behind through misses as much anything else. Similarly against Bournemouth we wasted chances without testing their keeper. We need to be on it.

Unless Foden is going to play wide, I don't see how will Alvarez get in the first eleven.

Very hard for fans but the players have to take it as just another game, we need the three points, simple as. Pep should have had everyone on target practice this week, nothing else. If we convert more of the chances we have been creating there should be no problem.

Target practice, not sure we ever practice that along with corners, free kicks and throw ins……
