To win a major final, the team need to play together. And the finals are incoming so they have to happen now. They’re meaningless in result and performance but as the England manager, they’re critical to getting ideas across and trying systems. Which means some of the top players playing.
Don’t understand how Stones can be getting pelters. But also don’t understand how some players aren’t nurtured better when they’re injury prone. There has to be more sense applied all round. Personally, I’d be fuming if City miss out because of England, especially when the guy in charge is a handbrake anyway.
