Bit of information if you not one to look up this stuff..

Do you know ederson has had a contract to sign for 18 months do you know he wanted to leave last season to Saudi!? Do you know that he has 1 year left on his contract? Do you know he has a contract on the table for 3 years at Galatasaray? Do you know they have made a bid of 7m do you know we want 13m?

It will get down for around 10m

Yes - still baffling that such an integral player wants to upsticks - apparently so eagerly.
Will be an enormous miss.
 
All in all, he’s been great for city, he has done things I never thought I’d see a keeper do, and him and Pep have fundamentally altered the role but, every footballer has a shelf life at a club and I think his might have expired.

Obviously just an opinion but I really think he’s done as a top class keeper. His lack of shot stopping is legendary, even to his supporters, which isn’t a great start.
When you combine that with his distribution falling off last season as well, it spells trouble.
Now I’ll accept that might be down to what he had available to pass to, but he was passing to opponents more than ever and, more worrying in some ways, kicking it into touch on a regular basis as well.
Admittedly he still contributed 4 assists last season but that wasn’t a normal season for him either, as he’s only made a total of 7 in the PL.
He seems to be injured quite frequently as well, which is also a worry.
 
City’s asking price is €20 million, as confirmed by a media friend from Turkey. This was personally told to Galatasaray by Jorge Mendes.
They will make an offer of €11 million today (excluding add-ons). Let’s see how Viana responds.

I don’t believe anything that comes from Turkish sources. They are the worst in terms of hyping up potential signings, the vast majority of which never happen.

However the fact that L’Equipe are reporting our interest in Donarumma means there’s something in this.

The fact that one of our main mouthpieces is saying no approach means we’re briefing to either up the price or cover bases if Ederson stays. What’s more interesting is he said Donarumma would be a target if he did leave.

The Super Cup final is tonight so don’t expect much regarding PSG (or Spurs) today. Perhaps we’ll see something regarding Ederson but as I said Turkish sources are pretty awful.
 
When you have achieved all there is to achieve, it is hard for some players to rise again.
If he goes, as Jack did before him, we wish him well and just accept that, for some, winning four titles on the trot and the treble was their Mount Everest.
