England v Andorra - Sat 6th Sept '25, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

£300k a week ‘media world class’ players and a ‘media world class’ manager v plumbers and taxi drivers. We’d do far better picking a team out of the Championship (with all due respect)

Honestly asked a question about folk not being happy about another drab game to which he replied ........" they never are "
Ok Lee should we all fook and sit and put up with decades of boring dross ?????
Ok for you your getting good money to sit there posh hotels 1st class travelwhile some poor bastard will have forked out decent money for this crap
Dixon was on Supervet as his dog was poorly.

He even sounded miserable when he collected his fixed pooch.

It’s just who he is. Like Hinchcliffe, he always focuses on the negative.

I've just seen the table and Serbia have drawn a game so I guess avoiding defeat in the games we play them should do the job. Beating them in one game as good as seals it.

Fair play to Tuchel he’s had the FA over for millions
According to some it’s about £5million a year, by reckoning, that’s £1million less per year than Capello, isn’t it? He didn’t set the world on fire as England manager as I recall and the players he had to pick from.

So; I presume this means we're dead certs for world cup glory in Trumperica next July. The French, Spanish, Argentinians et al may as well not bother travelling. Knighthoods all around, new schools and hospitals named after our glorious lions.

Nope, barely be much praise as you know, more negative sarcastic shite is the English way.

We did well against 11 prospective pub landlords, there is no easy game in world football.

Won't be long until huge cries for Tuchel to go.

Been a disaster of an appointment so far.

It was a very strange appointment. I'm thinking they must have a top coach lined up who's not yet available, Peo? Southgate didn't want to carry on until then so they thought he'd be a decent stop gap.
I'm not sure why he's making such a ham fisted effort of it. We weren't great under Southgate but we were progressing deep in tournaments. All our previous games are still out there to watch if he wanted. So he should have watched them and just decided which bits he wanted to tweak to make us better. Instead he's trying everybody and it's a mess.

I'm sure somebody has said this, if so I apologise, but I really wish they would work out a better qualification system. It is so annoying this international break, just at the start of the new season: real footy and fantasy footy also!

It is especially annoying that the game today was a pointless watch because as soon as England went ahead, the result was not in doubt. At 0:0 I suppose Andorra could have held out (with luck) for a 0:0 draw, but what is the point. What is the point of playing a game you know you have zero chance of winning?

Why not have some preliminary qualifiers to get most of the minnows out, then the established nations can have a meaningful series of games to decide on the final 32 (or 64 or 128 or whatever it is nowadays)! E.G. in the Carabou cup the little teams get knocked out before the big sides even start their journey and that is how it should be (and I hope City can avoid Grimsby for as long as possible in that one).

Interestingly, on the radio earlier it was said Andorra has a population broadly comparable to Grimsby which is why Andorra vs England is such a fruitless exercise, a waste of time and mainly just a potential injury risk to important players, fantasy team and real team related...

The guys a bellend Gaz. A dinosaur of the worst kind. Just ignore everything the prick says.

Not at all, but we completely dominated, we comfortably won, what exactly is there to complain about apart from the sake of it
Natural reaction. Southgate was held in high esteem and with a lot of affection - Tuchel is in a similar position to Moyes when he took on the impossible challenge of following in Sir Alex's footsteps.
