That was almost up there with the Agüeroooooooooo! moment, in terms of crowd reaction.
It looked as though the Saints were going to hold on for a point, until that moment of magic.
We laughed many times over Mendy chasing Raheem:

He was already on the decline on that last season with us.His career seemed to have stalled since leaving "lickle ol' Citeh". Let's be honest; he did precious little at Chelsea, and even less at Arsenal (that was a strange signing). Yes; his last 18 months or so with us were underwhelming. No point denying that. He'd admit that himself.
But he was excellent in his first four or five seasons with us, which some on here seem to have forgotten. That Centurions season, with him and Sane out wide, and Aguero and Jesus up the middle, and Merlin and Kev regularly threading the eye of the needle in midfield was an utter joy to watch. That side really should have a CL to their name. I hate to say it, but they were far more entertaining than the current bunch of mercenaries we have playing for us!
JOKING!!!!!!!
As I acknowledged in my post.He was already on the decline on that last season with us.
It became fashionable to “not rate” sterling because it said so in the sun
Remember watching an england game, think it was the WC semi v croatia , and some dicks behind me cheering when he got subbed. Asked why they were cheering, the reply was “cos hes fuckin shit”. Asked them why and they couldnt really answer
A lot of football fans , loads on here too, get their opinions from other people. The more people say someones shit, they think it makes them look knowledgable to repeat it.
Sterling suffered big time with that.
He wasnt perfect, bloody frustrating at times, but id have him ten times over our current crock of wingers we have.
The South Stand was a bit patchy as well in that video ;)I fucking hate that Family Stand.
Why? Unless you mean the early leavers, but the rest of the ground was almost as sparsely populated. - See Yaya's phenomenal run and goal v Villa for another example.I fucking hate that Family Stand.
Yep. Was at that one as wellWhy? Unless you mean the early leavers, but the rest of the ground was almost as sparsely populated. - See Yaya's phenomenal run and goal v Villa for another example.
I agree mate..Raz was fucking crucial to us winning trophies when he was here.It became fashionable to “not rate” sterling because it said so in the sun

Who can forget Burnley away. ;)I agree mate..Raz was fucking crucial to us winning trophies when he was here.
Yeah he was frustrating with some of his misses but he scored some vital goals for us.
A prime Raz was be very valuable for us now.
It's etched into my memory. I still don't know how he missed it. Corradi or Bradbury would have scored it.Who can forget Burnley away. ;)
That's true lol..Who can forget Burnley away. ;)
Lyon away says hi!!It's etched into my memory. I still don't know how he missed it. Corradi or Bradbury would have scored it.
We hammered Croatia for the first 35 minutes. 1-0 up after 5 mins and during the next 30 mins, the "media labelled" World Class player that is Harry Kane had two separate opportunities deep in their box to square to Raz to tap in and he went for the shots. At 2 or 3 nil up Croatia would have folded. It became fashionable to “not rate” sterling because it said so in the sun

Correct . But sir harry of england played for the right team.We hammered Croatia for the first 35 minutes. 1-0 up after 5 mins and during the next 30 mins, the "media labelled" World Class player that is Harry Kane had two separate opportunities deep in their box to square to Raz to tap in and he went for the shots. As you say, it was fashionable to hate Raz before it became Jack.
Who can forget Burnley away. ;)
Raheem Sterling was slagged off heavily long before Grealish joined City. Lyon happened long before Grealish was linked in any way with City.I just hope it is not the Jack fan boys slagging him off.
His worst goalscoring season out of the above 5 seasons was more than Jack scored in all his City career.
As others have posted how have we went from Raheem to Grealish,Doku and Silvino.
Jack was more popular but. Raheem had the figures to back it up
