47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

First game where I’ve thought Foden looked like a man and a senior player in the side. He’s no longer the whelp amongst the old dogs. You could see him going around the pitch and physically lifting players off the ground, patting them down, and giving them encouragement. Grew up today.

The biggest compliment I can pay is to say that he looked like himself today. It will be fantastic if he can get back to his best and today's signs are very good.

Sublime,

You could see he was on it,

Was a level above for 20 minutes. That pass he pinged to Doku, that he missed was too perfect for Doku, Doku unfortunately missed it. Felt foden was building a nice head of steam. Touches were coming off. Risks were rewarded. Poetry in motion.

We get old Foden back, we contenders again. Let's not get ahead of ourselves though.
Been a while since we saw that level from him.

Lad is mustard.

Agree, you could see the Foden old class today. Only thing i don’t agree with was the 2 passes you are probably referring to for Doku first half. I was sat on that side and he over hit both. On the /nd he did what he’s always done throwing his arms up. They weren’t good passes. Not slagging him though as today he looked much more like the brilliant Phil Foden we know he can be.
