Icing on the cake.
Keating was caught out by Clinton losing the ball so close to the 18 yard area. I don’t think she had any chance.Yes she was caught out a bit but you need your keeper to at least make an effort to try and save it - reminded me of a certain Keith McRae who's attitude was it's a goal or a goal kick ha!
Overall some great signs against a very confident Spurs side - I'd take 5-1 away every time.
Aoba is very dynamic, Kerolin is also a handful, debut goal from Grace and a very steady performance from Laura B-B. I still think Yama should be our number 1 probably because of her composure.
Good stuff.
Yeah - it was way further out than that but my point is at least try and dive - not saying she would save it - more concerning was her distribution which is still nervy. Clinton added a lot to our midfield and I look forward to seeing her alongside Sydney and Yui.Keating was caught out by Clinton losing the ball so close to the 18 yard area. Thought she played very well and can see her getting lots of goals once she gets up to speed and builds connections - looking at the last 18 months our midfield has not had much balance and goal threat- she does that we have plenty of pace in the side we just need balance.Assist by Clinton lol. Put clean through, no pace and she held it up instead of going for goal, then took a shot from distance that was heavily deflected and fell nice for us.
Me too, she was everywhere, rarely gave the ball away too, think she lost possession just once. Kerolin was excellent too.Laura B Brown had a great game. POTM for me
I agree with you @Mr HJ, but we must not forget Casparij’s tenacious efforts. She has developed and improved significantly since joining City to the extent of becoming a material of a future captain. Well done.Yes she was caught out a bit but you need your keeper to at least make an effort to try and save it - reminded me of a certain Keith McRae who's attitude was it's a goal or a goal kick ha!

I what her do really well with us , but calling it an "assist" is pushing it a wee bit lol.Assist by Clinton lol. Put clean through, no pace and she held it up instead of going for goal, then took a shot from distance that was heavily deflected and fell nice for us.
Especially against a team who'd not conceded before today.5-1 win away from home is always a decent result.
