HRH meets the Orange clown

Trump’s abrasive personality riles many folks against him. Everything he does MUST be wrong by default. But that is not borne out by the reality. His foreign policy record is actually pretty good when you analyse it (from the perspective of US interests, obviously). And he is genuinely committed to ending bloody conflicts around the world. It’s a pity that more ‘likeable’ leaders don’t follow his example in that respect. I welcome seeing HHSM engaging with the peace process.

I found the clip very intriguing in that Sheikh Mansour really didn’t want to be engaging him, no warmth whatsoever and wasn’t letting Trump pull him in and show strength, well played HHSM.
No warmth apart from the huge grin on Sheikh Mansour face.
I saw it as a man acting stoic at a peace summit but cracked when a business associate made him laugh.

But none of us no for sure I guess and neither if us are party to their relationship.

Watching that (reluctant) handshake between our owner and Trump, makes me think that Masters and his cronies have bitten off far more than they can chew in pressing ahead with these charges.

At the highest levels of government the bilateral relationship between the Abu Dhabi and the UK is critically important to the UK. Abu Dhabi plans on investing 14 billion into the UK economy. I can't imagine any government wanting to jeopardise that investment in any way whatsoever.

I would not be the least surprised if there were a flurry of phone calls at the highest levels about these farcical charges.

On this basis I'm confident we'll either get off completely, or be given a token fine for non-cooperation.

I sort of agree with you, but this peace agreement in reality had very little to do with Trump.

By all accounts it was Tony Blair’s doing and he was pulling most of the strings behind the scenes.

I thought the same. And trump looks him up and down as he turns his back on him and walks away

My respect for anyone that has been photographed with that pr*ck instantly plumits, I'm struggling to make an exception for Mansour.
I doubt Masters will be worried anyway, Trump supports the opinion of the last person he spoke to on a subject so as soon as he speaks to someone from the other side his opinion will change anyway.
You probably need to watch it again and look at it from the perspective of somebody who doesn’t want to be there, wants to be as distant as possible, and doesn’t want to engage in any bullshit Trump spouts.

That’s HH SM.

Yeah I think he's had enough bullshit and snide antics from Americans already. The wrinkled wotsit won't be pulling the wool over Sheikh Mansour's eyes anytime soon.

It's a pure business relationship. The UAE is one of the stongest allies in the middle east for the UK and the US. Most Arab nations are interested in making money because they can't rely on oil forever. There is a new realisation growing in the region that war is bad for everyone and is especially bad for business (unless you deal in arms like the UK). Whatever you think of Trump's motives he has pulled off a result so far.

Saw that too. Trump is doing that handshake thing. The Sheikh’s face drops as soon as he walks away.
