Match Thread | Aston Villa vs. Manchester City (26/10/25)

Only good news is we are only 1 down and we can't surely be as bad. Pep has to make early changes and get Cherki on to cause a bit of mayhem in their defence.

Yet they use the excuse "not a clear and obvious error"....for var not getting involved , how the fuck isn't it an error ?

lol my thoughts exactly my stream froze on the exact frame of him pushing him over with two hands from behind and was convinced in the the brief seconds it took to catch up I would be greeted with the Viking stood over the penalty spot. Nope. It was so clear and obvious and even more obvious on the replay.

People go after Savinho because we see the same thing all the time. He’s had plenty of the ball, has had the beating of his FB and then fails to deliver any end product. Rinse and repeat. He is so frustrating to watch.
He has been our most industrious attacking option. Our biggest problem, though, is our press and our ability 1 v 1 defending them. They are dribbling against us out of the back :(

If we can’t come from 1 down here and at least get a point then title talk needs shelved until next season.
Did the title conversation even start? Arsenal are miles better than everyone else this season. We're on our way back but not there yet. Top 4 and a cup is our target and we're on track to get close to that so far.

Playing bad, but, being reffed out of it. So Gvardi slight nudge on McGuin is a foul but a two handed push from Rodger’s on him is not. Just keep making it up as you go along OliVAR
It's unfair. Refs need to be consistent. Look at Hooper last evening.
