City monitoring the forum

I have a confession to make. My name is Gary Neville and I have been swapping and reselling tickets for years.

I understand the club has no choice but to ban me from the grounds permanently and immediately, and I should be barred from ever holding any sort of punditry or related position ever again.

A sad day but I accept my punishment.

LOVE CITY HATE the ticket office/ system including the ridiculous waiting times trying to phone them.
were one of the best run clubs in the world. Unfortunately dispite several new personnel our ticket office are disgusting.
Its no surprise in this day and age the club monitors social media. Obviously only reacting to bit that suit them

I know we only lease the season tickets from the club but I still don’t see what the issue is giving it to a mate or someone else you know who would love to go that can’t afford a membership or the high cost of a ticket.
If you lend it to them and they act like a dick then it’s on you and you deserve sanctions from the club.

You're right, but the problem is with the PL, who insist on clubs knowing as far as possible who is using the ticket. And it's also difficult to draw a line between someone giving their mate the ticket and someone selling it to someone they don't know, who could be an opposition fan.

As someone pointed out earlier in this or another thread, there is often a double standard applied to giving tickets to mates and "tourists" getting hold of them. If you believe in the points system then both are wrong. You can't be selective.

You need to ask Mike B the Ticket Compliance Manager

Part of the role is to monitor social media sites

Monitoring:
He monitors the internet and social media for fraudulent activity and other breaches of the ticketing terms and conditions

And ironically now more tickets are ending up in opposition fans hands than previously. A total failure.

It'd be ideal if we had something along the lines of say a credit card, that you just swipe to gain access to the stadium for games. Then you could just give it to a mate or family member to use too ...

Isn’t that what loads on here have been asking the club to do find out the seat details and out the touts and when they do people refuse I understand why you refused but the club can’t win in this type of situation. Maybe give them the seat details after the game and let them investigate then
