Not the worst draw.
Well she was 15 yards to my right and I sure didn't dream itNot suggesting you are making that up but its not something I have heard of or witnessed down there and i hardly missed a game in the 80s and 90s.
A disgusting and sick act though and I am sure whoever threw it got time behind bars
Yep inbreds the lot of them and their "Soul Crew" name
the club sold tickets the sunday before the game, 4 tickets to anyone that turned up at ninian park, and they were fighting eachother in the queue to get tickets so yes, a massive amount of idiots that weren't real fans got tickets, piss poor from the club and pretty much guaranteed their would be trouble and its shocking to hear about issues like this, i did hear there was trouble before and after, didn't see any myself but never took an interest in the violence and was in the pub celebrating not throwing punches or golfballs.Well she was 15 yards to my right and I sure didn't dream it
Cardiff gate that season prior to the tie was roughly 5000
When we rolled into town the gate was eventually given as 20000 I seem 5o remember, every nutter from SW Was there
Own coach recieved a police escort 10 miles from the ground
Then at FT They charged at us chucking Golf balls as mentioned plus other things and the OB Just stood and watched as it became a battle
Until 10 or so finally got on the pitch in an attempt to disperse their baying new found fans
Scary...
How does Arsenal getting Palace help us against Brentford?Thats a favourable draw for us. Brentford at home is a nice draw for us and arsenal getting palace helps too.
Sorry you.must have been walking around with a blindfold onthe club sold tickets the sunday before the game, 4 tickets to anyone that turned up at ninian park, and they were fighting eachother in the queue to get tickets so yes, a massive amount of idiots that weren't real fans got tickets, piss poor from the club and pretty much guaranteed their would be trouble and its shocking to hear about issues like this, i did hear there was trouble before and after, didn't see any myself but never took an interest in the violence and was in the pub celebrating not throwing punches or golfballs.
But to say all Cardiff fans are inbreds....Really? I am not an inbred I am a good person as are most Cardiff fans I know, like a lot of clubs they got a few bad apples but theres more good than bad down there, same as all clubs.
Yep, looking at the league fixtures the weekend before, Cardiff vs Chelsea could go Tuesday 16th (both play on the Saturday) and the other 3 (where at least one team is playing Sunday) on Wednesday 17th. That would be my best guess. This will have to be played on the Wednesday (17th).
You can see Sky rubbing their cocks at the prospect of Cole Palmer V City double header Semi if we get through.Arsenal v Palace, one of the favourites out.
Cardiff v Chelsea, stuffy cunts.
Emmerdale Away?rags with another easy draw.
Gllf Balls....I remember them throwing Gllf balls with nails in them at us,
One struck a woman on the cheek
I remember her scream
It was dire and lawless
No offence taken, as i said, i am not denying there was trouble, only saying i was there and didnt see any and I wasnt wearing blindfolds, i know the experience of an away fan can be very different to a home fan but don't go calling people inbreds because you don't like them, theres too much dehumanization going on in the UK right now without involving football fans.Sorry you.must have been walking around with a blindfold on
There WAS Trouble before during and after
And as for idiots yeah they've got a lot
I remember Sam Hamman some years later defending the SC Behaviour when it ko
No offence m8 but I know what I saw and that experience in the away end was shocking, anyway that's that gn
We drew Brentford? I'm sorry you get scared at football matches.A different era, but a very scary day at Cardiff cup tie. Blues being attacked everywhere but post match Carfiff came to the coach park and got smacked senseless. Welsh Dippers and rags who turned up for a fight found they had stepped out of their league and found not all City fans were easy targets. Just behind the Liverpool semi and Everton quarter in 1981 in scariest ever days.
Where did i say it helps us beat Brentford? Isn't it obvious that Arsenal and Palace are two of the favourites so them drawing each other eliminates 1 before the semi-finals? That fixture is a positive for all remaining teams. How does Arsenal getting Palace help us against Brentford?
It was a battle. On the park between the Rugby ground and the footy groundlol, wasn't much of a battle as i remember it, good day out though
