It was a regular chant on the Kippax back then. I don’t think many actually ‘supported’ any other club but City, especially Manc blues.

Most popular when we were playing sides with no away fans to "banter" with, so this was used instead to generate a bit of atmosphere.

Can anyone remember a City scarf from around 75-76 which was a bit like a Rangers Scarf in colour it was Bar Stripes. If anyone has one could you please post a photo, I’ve lost my original and trying to find a replacement.

I had this scarf also a white one with red and blue bars,both now sadly gone.

From my time standing on the kippax..late 80s till it was knocked down
Id say the 60:40 split was accurate

In boring passages of play ,random chants of " Rangers !!" followed by " Celtic!! "
belted round the terrace. Id preferred Celtic as a kid but didn't get involved in these chants as they
sounded serious and backed by religion. and not my' schoolboy. ' pick a Scottish team ' innocent selection.

Rangers def out numbered Celtic at the time.

Followed by swap shop tiswas. I was rangers and swap shop
