It doesn't take away the fact that Scholes is an absolute ****. He was completely fine when it came to trying to break somebody's leg most weeks.

I’ve taken great pleasure watching pig ginger almost in tears on TNT in recent years, after the rags have lost game upon game.
 
I am not interested in his private life and I am not interested in the fact that his son is suffering the way he is. We all of us have our crosses to bear, we suffer the slings and arrows etc, and Scholes is no exception.

In his professional life he was a vicious, almost psychotic, reckless little thug with no regard for another player's safety and career. The fact that he was lauded for it by his peers and the biased media gave him carte blanche to launch two-footed assaults on anyone who wasn't on the same side as him. SlySports in particular elevated him to a status far above the norm by employing people like Richard Keys, Martin Tyler and Andy Grey to laugh off his many attempts to maim another professional with inane comments like "Ha ha, Scholesy's back. Nice one, Paul."

For me and many others he will not be remembered as an extraordinarily gifted footballer who gave pleasure to millions of people, he will be remembered as a nasty, ill-tempered, petulant spoiled brat protected by the Premier League mafia of the Pisscan, David Gill, Howard Webb, and the acquiescence of a tabloid media fearful of upsetting the bandwagon they had created in the first place.

His son is non verbal and incapable of taking care of himself.

Scholes is just talking about the difficulties of having a son like that, and has been talking with parents who message him who have younger kids and going through the same thing. Surely that can only be a good thing?
 
Some on here are like 13 year olds

Imagine not being able to separate football from real life and still remain disrespectful and have no compassion to a father who is now dedicating his life to his son who has severe autism and can't talk, just because he fouled a few players years ago. Pathetic stuff fellas.

The bloke is out there talking about struggles that people go through and has been giving support to others who are starting to go through it. It's never a bad thing when people with some profile can highlight these things. Credit to him.

I'd like to think our fans were better than this.

He can still be a **** to everyone else but look after his son, both those things can be true at the same time.

Indeed, both things can be true

Is he really a **** though? Yeah he was no angel on the pitch, all clubs have had them. Other than that, just seems a bloke who never got into any bother in his normal life.

I certainly don't wish him all the bad luck in the world like one poster

If you mean me, your reply is incorrect. I don't wish him all the bad luck in the world. I want some of it to go to others such as Bruno Fernandes, Daniel Levy, Mikel Arteta, Ronaldo, Tim Lewis, Alex Ferguson, .....
Basically, to people who have been twats towards others without a thought.

What's Bruno Fernando's done? He's annoying at best. Never hear much about him away from football.
