Tommy Tuchel's England squad | Nov '25 (p17)

Surprised jacks not been called up, Alex Scott 1st caught my eye when we played Bristol city other year in cup, he stood out for them but hasn’t really done it for Bournemouth? had injuries I know but it’s an unlikely choice??, pleased for nico & Phil if he gets played in his correct position

Our Phil is the best footballer England has ever seen , he is absolute special and should be 1st name on the team sheet everytime !!! But there is one self loving, unbearable, ugly twat, cryingface ****, wannabe the biggest star, self centred bastard - BELLEND ( absolute shit footballer ) who almost never pass the ball to nobody and especially to our Phil and that is England,s biggest problem...

Jude is an overconfident player which masks his failings.

Phil's confidence always seems to come down after being with England and it usually takes a few games for him to get it back with players that respect and love him.

Wouldn't surprise me if Bellends dad feeds backs negatives to the media to hype his lad as Phil is his main rival and they know what a threat he is to their revenue streams.

Phil is a special player but like Gerrard,Rooney,Beckham,Lampard,TAA,Bellingham ect he has not performed to the same standard in a world cup or euro championship final.

He's never been played in his best position.

Waistcoat should have rebuilt the team around him. Looks like Tommy will try and build his team around Bellingham and Phil will be benched or put on the wing.

Yes, Phil not performed for England so good like for our Club but you know why? Because he was tired of winning almost everything in last couple of years and i'am ultrahappy for that :)

How many times has he played as a 10 or midfield in his 45 games for England!

When you find out then look at all the other players like Bellingham Saka Gordon Even Palmer and how many times they didn’t play in the position they thrive!?

I really think England have a serious chance of winning the World Cup next year. The squad is unbelievably stacked, to the point where even the C-team could make the quarter finals. He's going to have a tough job picking 23 of this lot. And England finally have a manager in Tuchel who knows tournament football well.

Pickford
James, Stones, Guehi, O'Reilly
Rice, Anderson
Saka, Bellingham, Foden
Kane

Henderson
TA-A, Konsa, Maguire, Lewis-Skelly
Gallagher, Wharton
Madueke, Palmer, Eze
Watkins

Trafford
Livramento, Chalobah, Burn, Spence
Henderson, Jones
Bowen, Grealish, Gordon
Rashford

So much talent in all of those teams.

Interesting to see how he fits in the big names brought back into the squad. Personally I thought the last 2 sets of fixtures have brought the best performances from an England side in decades.

He has spoken today and apparently has said Foden, Bellingham and Kane cannot play in the same team. I again like his upfront answer instead of a Southgate-like pussyfooting around, it makes it clear they're in direct competition and he isn't going to squeeze in names out of position because of their status.

But on the other hand, those 3 should be able to play together. They're different players and our best players, he should be able to find a formation to get them all performing well together.

He should give Phil a run at 8, then Bellingham can have 10. Hes been 8 for city this season. Seems like a fair experiment

I agree that foden should be playing 8 and I do think Tuchel might consider him there in the next internationals in March should he continue to perform in that position for us, but that brings up other problems, Rice plays the 8 role, he isn't getting dropped and he isn't a very good 6.

I think Foden has to take an England game by the scruff of the neck imto get himself into thr starting side. He simply hasnt performed for England. And whilst there are mitigating circumstances for that, it's on him to stop being just another cog in the side and make himself the heartbeat, oddly enough, he could do with some of the arrogance and belief that many slate bellingham for having.

Can't take 33 players though, so a number won't be in the squad.

calm down. i dont like bellingham either but foden has been wank for england he has no right to be first choice

its perfectly reasonable to come out and say its bellingham or foden for the no10 position, especially when you have saka or palmer or rashford or gordon for the wide position. the midfield will be rightly Rice and one other - you cannot play say Rice Foden Bellingham in midfield behind a forward 3. that would be bullshit

This is an unpopular view in the England world - Foden is better than anyone in his generation. We can be reductive and say put the medals on the table, he’ll win

But in terms of positional play, mentality and not only knowing but being material to be winning must be worth something??

Are we seriously saying that Saka(I like him), Gordon, Rashford or Bellingham are better than him? I don’t accept that
