Sunderland matched Arsenal physically and that is a huge credit to them.
In fact the 2 Arsenal goals were a result of errors, although the Trossard finish was brilliant.
Arsenal have a fair few injuries, though not in defence.
I don't think they will drop many points so if we we want to stay in the race we will need to match their results v the lesser teams.

Great finish by the sub, and a big bonus for us before tomorrow.

City are lucking out a bit as they go to S O L on New Year's Day when many Sunderland players are at AFCON so you'll walk that. Dippers go there early Feb so Sunderland will have those players back.

How on earth is this Arsenal 'at their best'? Gyokeres, Odegaard, Havertz, Madueke, Martinelli all injured. We were playing a DCM as a makeshift striker.

Because your game plan won’t change. You have the best depth in the league so throwing those names at me means nothing. You have showed your hand and now it’s I up to other teams to come up with a blueprint to stop you.

Nonsense even if we draw tomorrow I still fancy us to catch them.

Arsenal dropping points the weekend their two main rivals face off shows a weak mentality. A true title contender gets the 3 points and then sits back and watches the other two challengers tear each other apart.

Now both City and Liverpool even if tomorrow ends in a draw will fancy their chances of reeling them in and if one of the teams wins it their confidence and momentum will ski rocket.

That was a really bad time to drop points for Arsenal

He is correct, they don't look like they will drop many points, or at least lose games.
They are so physically strong, they do have injuries and goal scoring from open play will be an issue ,until they get some players back.
Great finish to get a point for a very well drilled Sunderland side, probably scored from only 2 opportunities, and that is great for us.
