There is really stiff competition for the worst referee of all time. The idea it's a meritocracy is laughable. If it were, then some of the stalwarts would be reffing in the Isthmian.

Makes me feel a bit better about losing at Villa. Looks like they're just re-finding that form they had towards the end of last season where they're really tough to beat at Villa Park. All the top teams still have to go there as well.

I think they have lost once (Arsenal) at home since the start of last season in all competitions including Champions League.

Brentford deserve more credit than they're getting. I had them down as prime relegation candidates after losing Frank and their 3 best players. Seemed like one of those obvious end of cycles where they drop off a cliff but they don't seem any worse than last season at all. Andrew's has done a great job getting them going again, they remain a tough and tricky fixture and Igor Thiago has been every bit as good as those they've lost. Fair play.
