I can see why Cup Scheme members get a discount but after that it should have been the same price for all and capped at £20
All I'm advocating for is cheap football tickets, the week before Christmas, for a Carabao Cup game versus Brentford. You honestly think the club would drop prices to the level you're proposing? I'm not saying it won't happen (I'm not an "ITK"), but I'd be amazed if they went any lower than £15.
Read my posts again. I never said that there was anything wrong with that. What I did say is that I'd be amazed if the club dropped adult prices to a tenner. FWIW, I agree with your sentiment. I just don't see it happening. For the club, it's all about money. Witness the amount of season card holders who've been "relocated" out of sections of level 2, so that it can be given over to hospitality. They're not bothered about "legacy" fans. All I'm advocating for is cheap football tickets, the week before Christmas, for a Carabao Cup game versus Brentford.
I don't see what's wrong with that? Get the place filled with kids and families and start to breed the next generation of fans, otherwise the stadium will be full of FOC's like me for the next thirty years :-)
Your not alone LeeI may be in the minority but I think the prices are pretty fair for a QF tie tbh.
Im in the scheme so its £20 for me and £10 for my 20 year old son which I think is fantastic value. Even outside of the scheme thousands are tickets are available at £20, £10 for 18-21/OAP or £5 for kids - the club has got plenty wrong of late in terms of treatment of the fanbase, but I dont see the pricing for this game as something we can criticise.
Think with those prices the crowd will be about 45,000 and that’s decent as Brentford won’t bring many. An early Xmas treat for lots of youngsters.I may be in the minority but I think the prices are pretty fair for a QF tie tbh.

This has been irritating me unreasonably all season. I cannot think of any justification for this. Is it just so they can call the new seats level 2?I've just noticed that we have the newly named levels 0 & 1 but have still got level 3.
So there's no level 2 now?
Seems a bit odd.
So the existing seats in the North Stand that were level 2 and are now level 1, will remain level 1. But the new seats that will be on the same level as level 1, will be level 2?This has been irritating me unreasonably all season. I cannot think of any justification for this. It's the only reason I can think of.So the existing seats in the North Stand that were level 2 and are now level 1, will remain level 1. But the new seats that will be on the same level as level 1, will be level 2?
Sounds about right.
Agreed. Total ticket costs of £50 for a family of 4 to go to watch a home cup quarter final between two Premier League sides is very good value.I may be in the minority but I think the prices are pretty fair for a QF tie tbh.

Talking purely as a business person and not as a fan, they've got the pricing spot on when a game sells out just before the game - which is actually the case for most of our games now. They've probably got the pricing just about spot on from the club's perspective.
Just high enough to maximize revenue, whilst low enough for most people to just err on the 'fair enough I suppose' side of the fence.
