We're not without fault in that department ourselves...I would be amazed if such didn't happen at almost every club in the country at some point.

For the BBC it's a pre-requisite of employment.Ghastly stuff. Again.
As far as I can tell the bbc, the guardian, sky and some others must be suffering from ‘abuse reporting fatigue’, as there is no mention of this on their websites.
True enough, but as a club we did eventually deal with it in a sensitive way, launching a full and thorough investigation and reaching out to abuse victims, whereas Crewe Alexandra's handling of it left a lot to be desired.Abhorrent, but let’s not get all high and mighty as our club, in the case of Benall, knew there were allegations and the club quietly moved him along
Which would be worse to admit to in court l, yes m lord I was fiddled to as fuck but didn't play for the shower of shite.FUck me imagine been a youth player at that shit hole.
And then getting fiddled with aswell.
Poor bastards.
This will be covered up and forgotten by morning.
Can't have bad press about the rags
Stone's got to ensure he lip service pays back for his freebie watch on an almost daily basis...Still nothing on the BBC football pages other than this fluffy PR piece that's obviously been planted to distract https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cdjrkznlk9yo
Hes buried it and done a puff piece on how great the rags are insteadDon't worry !!!
Slippery, slimy Simon Stone will be giving us daily updates.
Wondering how he can bring Rashford into this story though ?
Not quite the case, I don't think? The article says that the parent of one of the alleged victims presumed Ferguson would be involved with sacking Watts because a member of staff at United said "the boss" would handle it. But the article then explains that "the boss" was club secretary Ken Merrett. The pisscan looks to be involved from this article

Worker at centre of abuse claim was ‘redeployed’ from The Cliff to Old Trafford by Manchester United
A number of troubling allegations have emerged from a time when some of the club’s more celebrated players were coming through....www.nytimes.com
As even the rags won't have a carpet big enough to sweep this under the Whataboutery regarding Bennal will be off the scaleAbhorrent, but let’s not get all high and mighty as our club, in the case of Benall, knew there were allegations and the club quietly moved him along
Surprising that the NYT with their historic connections with Fenway Sports are on this given this 'new love in' that the trafford tramps and the skip rats are cultivating these days. The pisscan looks to be involved from this article
