It was a slap. I’m sure it happens, and worse, in training, but this is a professional game of football and you can’t do that. As has been said, none of the Everton players protested. Nothing to do with helping the rags. They’ve been irrelevant for years. It’s a rule and Wee Davey is going to self combust in that dressing room. I wouldn’t want to be the player in question!
