there is some luck in the draw but the higher you finish your chances improve for a better draw. but no need to play extra two games in February ad I hope Pep learned that from last season. to throw this Leverkusen game in this manner was unnecessary and indeed can cost a lot.

we beat Leverkusen and we can afford to get 3-4 points from last 3 games which is doable. he probably now treats the Real game not to lose and and with that we gonna lose.

The Real game should have been the free hit. In truth it still is as I expect we will get battered but with a much better starting lineup than last night.

The irony is that's the least dumb thing he says in that commentary clip.

"There's no chance of defending it because they're slow to come out"....so they could have defended it if they'd not been slow?

"They've created too much space for themselves"....doesn't make sense on any level.

Just seen highlights from Newcastle vs Marseille last night, Aubemeyang scored from a chance that was identical to the Haaland one in our game, played in behind with Pope in no man's land, except Aubameyang did the right thing and rounded him to finish in the empty net, so many frustrations this week.
