I think what concerns me most about this game is that we'll wear that shitty rain kit

I thought exactly the same.

Hopefully the ref decides it too close to Fulham's white kit. So we'll wear the black kit because they need to flog away shirts.

Fulham are a good outfit at home, the type of game we have been losing this season but one you simply have to win to be a title challenger. Let's see if we've learnt anything from our other defeats.

We are very light in midfield and both Bernardo and Nico are already bordering on burnout, we have to find an extra option in there, Lewis is too small and weak for the role we need so I'd stick stones in midfield alongside Nico. Khusanov coming into the backline gives us the pace, Aké solid at left back which gives Nunes more of a license to get forward and offer us something from the right. Marmoush off haaland with doku and foden going wherever they need to to get on the ball.

Absolutely. They are similar to Leeds in that their results haven't matched their performances. Fulham are a better all round team than Leeds too, who gave us a very tough game as i predicted. Expect more of the same on Tuesday.

That team would get absolutely dominated in midfield. Nico G needs more help in midfield and Reijnders isn’t the guy up do it - he’s good going forward, but tackling and screening the defence, tracking runners etc are his weaknesses not his strengths

Fulham reminded me of Bournemouth at their best in that first half at Spurs. Stones, Khusanov, O'Reilly and Nunes could handle them. I think we need pace and power at the back as we don't seem able to dominate games in midfield for 90 mins.

Some fans have reservations about City at the moment, but we are in a far better place than we were last season. Last season, the only way we could stay unbeaten was to take the wingers off, take no risks, and bore everyone to death. This season, Doku has been unleashed, Foden has come back to life, and Cherki is pottering around on the fringe. We are hovering between 3rd and mounting a title challenge. Realistically, we need Rodri to look forward to away games.

All three have great engines and work in unison, however. Our problems become exposed when the opponent puts two up top in the second half to occupy the central defenders and our attacking midfielders cannot get back to support Gonzalez.

We have to be more clinical in first halves or we face repeat performances.
