RIP "Bonzo". A fantastic servant for the club. 663 appearances for them. I always thought he was the stereotypical "one club man". But he actually started his career at Charlton, and made nearly 100 appearances for them.
RIP Billy. Had a great long spell with the Hammers and was still playing at top level past his 40th birthday. Hope the Hammers can get a win for him today.
A very good player and one of a great team of players they had back in those days.He was one of those players who just got on with his job and seemed to dismiss the headlines/media and came over as a nice guy.
RIP Billy.
