Also I am claiming kudos for myself and @Ribble73 as we have both scored 115 in a game this season.

I’m limping towards the finish line. I can’t see me winning it. @Rodri’s ACL has got his boys on fire now in the final straight.

Last 3 or 4 games my lads have been way off it. I’m only just beating teams with half their team not playing.

Also, no matter who I pick in my RB/WR spot, they always do shite. I’ve already complained about my running backs publicly and although they did a bit better this week, none had a 25+ point week or even close… AGAIN!

Hopefully St Browns ankle rules him out of mine and @Ribble73 matchup this weekend. Ha.

As i’m an NFL novice, can a more seasoned fan tell me this… Do they rest players once they’ve qualified for the playoffs?

If so that could make weeks 17/18 interesting for us fantasy managers!

A lot of the time yes
I’m mostly safe, which is a great sign for me.

I think this has been a great learning curve and added some extra topping to a great game.
My folly was getting rid of two primary WR’s in Rice and CD Lamb due to ignorance and impatience.

Yeah, if we do it again next season I’ve definitely learned a thing or 2.

Think a league of 8 might be better as well coz there would be more waiver options.

I also prefer total points over head to head games.

Well firstly you should be allowed your pipe and slippers and insist someone else takes the admin role next year ( coughing,splutter @Rodri’s ACL , cough ,splutter).
Secondly, I wouldn’t like to cap it at just eight people if more wanted to join.
Could we split into divisions with play offs for example ?
Personally I like the head to head as it mirrors the real game.
Once again though a massive thank you from me and the entire fan base of HTTR :-)

Agree with everything here.
Not sure how a dynasty league would work with new players joining unless it’s from next season which makes sense.
Another thing I’ve loved is chatting with fellow fans of the game I.e. the eight players who are still playing.

Puts more emphasis on drafting and saving waiver priority. I mean, whatever the league as a whole thinks I suppose.

Seahawks defence gave me a well needed boost overnight after so many underperformers yesterday.
@City Raider is coming for us all !!

Haha! My top draft picks have left it late but have finally come to the party. It’s been a struggle.

Agree, a league of 8 makes sense. The more teams are in the league, the more important it is to nail the draft as waiver choice isn’t the best week in week out.

Been good fun though despite my struggles, cheers for setting it up!

And yes, resting players is a thing. That’s why the normal league default is playoffs to be finished before week 17.

As an aside I have been invested so much in the fantasy league I have asked Mrs Junkie to buy me an American Football board game.
Have a Look at “1st and Goal” or the sequel “1st and Roll”. Although it says 2-4 players I am convinced they can be played solo.
Essentially they are card and dice games.
