Right back options

I`d be more inclined to believe the dutch site to be honest mate. Read looks a Viana type signing as well doesnt he?
maybe a Vianna signing, but he clearly is a project player

he loves to get stuck in the challenge and sometime does a risky play

by the highlights it looks like 1,75m

We have time though if Nunes stays for a year or two? I like the look of him to be honest.

Reports again today we will try for Livramento in the summer. After all he never signed that new deal…

If they don’t get European football can definitely see him leaving if we come knocking

I figured this past summer was the time to do it, but I appreciate Newcastle potentially fumbling consistent CL football to keep us in the mix for Livramento at a lower fee. If he can finish the season without any injuries or fitness issues, then I'm all for it.

Yeah he’d be perfect. Prem and European experience yet still loads of potential. Can play multiple positions.

I don’t think his injury record is as bad as some think.

That was my concern with him at first, but the big thing was the ACL injury which seems to have some lingering but not severe impact. With Nunes proving himself this season, it's not like we'll need Livramento to start every game either.

While its just the dutch league, he looks good and passes the eye test and statistically his numbers look good.

If Livramento doesn't happen, we can go younger here since we still have Nunes.

100M for a full back. Will never happen
That's too much to be worth it, personally. If we were to spend 100M on a player again, I'd rather it be a midfielder.
Agree it’s too much but they paid a for whack - he’s young, homegrown, versatile, experienced and full of potential.

Midfielders like that now go for 100.

I hope they miss out on European football so he pushes for a move and we have more bargaining power.

Him still not signing an improved contract should make it easier to get terms aligned with him but Newcastle is always going to be difficult

Yeah agree. Think this is a bit of a bandwagon report. Just saying something that people know without much substance.

The Dutch lad looks decent and if he’s available for cheap, fair enough – could be a tidy bit of business. But in terms of priorities, we should be sorting out the CB and DM/CM positions long before we even think about him. Stones, Aké, Bernardo and Kovačić are basically done at the top level. City aren’t winning major trophies with them playing serious minutes anymore. Age plus years of heavy mileage have caught up with all of them.

Wouldn’t mind Nunes staying as fullback option, but only if we’ve got proper players around him in the XI – lads like Anderson, Wharton, Guehi, whoever you want to name really. Otherwise it’s pointless.
