I should know better.. I recall thinking Rodri didn’t have it for the longest time.
Maybe that Pep bloke knows more than we do eh? :)
 
Never really doubted it too much before game. Pretty comfortable throughout, Cherki once again worth the entrance fee alone

Palace away is tricky but the team is starting to settle a bit now and we've got to be putting a decent run together over christmas with some very winnable games

Excellent win against a club who've been doing well this season ..... great goal from Dias, and then he ruins it when he got in that mess trying to clear the ball .. good job Donnarumma was alert and helped him out, really good save that was !

If we'd let Sunderland in there the game could have finished differently ..... all in all though I think we were definitely the better team over the 90 minutes, and it's a great three points on a day when Arsenal did the thoroughly decent thing, and imploded, lol !

Cherki is going to be very important for us. Some people saying he walks around too much, it’s exactly what we need to slow the game down and control it. Honestly get Rodri back into this team instead of Bernie and we will win the title.

Yet there are still some saying we'll never catch Arsenal. I actually think if we had played in the way that Leverkiusen playe the other week instead of trying to hang on for 80+ minutes we'd have own that, but it's done and they have now failed to beat us, Liverpool, Villa and Chelsea who played with 10 men for an hour.

We haven't hit our best form yet and we usually get better as the season goes on. I think the mistake most are making is they're thinking of the 90-100 points seasons and thinking we won't make that level. We probably won't, but neither will anybody else. Liverpool's winning total last season wouldn't have been enough to catch us in the previous six that we won it and a similar total of 83-85 points will probably be enough this season.

Few put in the effort that Bernardo does. I think we forget that we're playing 2 matches a week virtually every week of the season and you can't expect a top class performance every week, especially for the older players.

I for one will never forget his performance in the 4-0 vs Madrid.

The speed with which he has picked up how to control a game is remarkable. I thought he had some cool and mad shit in him, but he has taken to Pep "la pausa" (knobhead alert) quicker than anyone outside of Silva and Gundogan who basically already had that in their game.
