Was obvious Salah was a bit of a diva and it’s shown. His rant reflects poorly on him - been dropped due to poor performances and has come out with a ‘poor me’ interview instead of looking at himself.
Years of good performances don’t guarantee a place in the side and surely he should know that. He’s arguably been poor since the new deal last season and rightly dropped for it.
I had him down as a diva, but not one to give up at the slightest bit of disharmony with a manager. He’s there to get results and if a player isn’t doing well then it’s normal that he brings him out the team for somebody else.
As funny as the Carragher comment is too…it shows a bit of childish petulance. And spitty is right and has proven to be right in that Salah hasn’t done any interviews during the bad form of the side - as a leader in the team - and has now only done one, this one, to moan about his own place.
He’s obviously trying to force the dippers hands between him and Slot. Sticky situation for them really, do they back the manager under pressure or do they back the player they’ve just given a mega bucks deal to? If they do the latter, it sets a dangerous precedent.
Regardless, it’s hilarious to sit back and watch as a rival/neutral.
