Not for £100m though. Just not justifiable for a right back. He’s no Walker.I’d rather have Livramento all day.
Nunes has improved massively but in big games I really worry about him being RB
Which is where I hope Khusanov can come in. Looks exactly who we should be after & require. Fast, physical, but most importantly a natural right back who has the defensive instincts.
He'll be miles cheaper & probably more attainable than Livramento - someone needs to send his YT video to Viana!

I would think it's the latter if we're honest.
PL tax and all that.
But 100m for a RB seems utterly absurd to me - so here's hoping it is 65m including Trafford if we were to go ahead

I think he’ll stay in January because we won’t find an appropriate replacement. To be fair, Kyle Walker was just becoming more than an athletic player with pace at the age Livramento is now. He was not a very good player in the years prior.Not for £100m though. Just not justifiable for a right back. He’s no Walker.

It was because we paid £50m, which I believe was a world record transfer fee for a defender at the time, beating what we paid for Stones the season before and then beaten again by Mendy joining ten days later.He was very good but spurs didn't think they needed him and seemed to think they had equally good backs when he left.

Nunes really impressed me and I've been somewhat critical on here about him. Its a very good point that all players make mistakes and hes certainly making a lot less and looking a really complete player at the moment.
He's obviously got a great mentality and some players cant handle what Pep demands. He deserves to be here 100%.
That said id still love us to sign another full back to help. Lewis for me needs to move into midfield and Khusanov isn't a full back.
Livramento helps cover both sides meaning Nico can move into midfield as well, an area we are desperate for more energy. He's a great signing if it can be done on good terms.
LB - Ait-Nouri (Josko, Livramento and Nico OR can cover)
CB - Dias, Gvardiol, Khusanov
RB - Nunes, Livramento (Lewis and Khusanov can cover)
Im guessing Stones and Ake will be going this summer. But with Khusanov getting very limited minutes I find it hard to believe we'd be willing to bring Reis or Bah in. Reis more likely. Maybe we could sign another CB as well I'll use Guehi as an example.
