Is rudiger not a deliberate denial of a goal scoring opportunity in the box? Is that not a red? I get that a yellow is given if a pens given and the player tries to plays the ball, but rudigers is deliberate to stop Haaland scoring.

Doku got better the longer the half went on but yes, NOR has been the best attacking player so far. It's Haaland and Foden who really need to step it up.

It makes zero sense as he is the only one doing it, it's not remotely difficult to bypass him, even if the likes of doku/foden follow him up, Cherki isnt going to do it so they'll always have an easy out ball to their left back rendering any kind of front press entirely pointless, i could get a bunch of semi-pro's together and play around our front press with ease. It's that bad.

we are essentially choosing to defend with 5 players. It's insane but it's all on Pep, bernardo isn't doing that by choice.

Bernado in company with the other club legends last 10 years and in his prime was very difficult to dispossess but he is not physically strong enough for midfield now - the penalty was a rugby tackle - how can they complain about that ? Ref looked at screen for about 3 seconds - even the 1st goal was a howler from their keeper but it was like “how dare you score against us” Keep it tight now and I think Cherki could destroy these in 2nd half - they look shit scared every time he has the ball
