Will be nice to see some positivity in this thread after a really good caemo off the bench. Carried the ball really well, won fouls, should have had an assist for that cross rolled across the 6 yard box - probably would have got one if Haaland was still on.

Thought it was a really positive cameo. That's exactly how you play that position in such a game state.

Bit of an aside but did anyone notice on one of the breaks how absolutely gassed Marmoush was. The bloke could barely get up and support despite being on the pitch for the same amount of time.

Fair play to him - first 5 mins after coming on was very poor but his last 15 were excellent. If he can get into his head that working hard off the ball pays off he will be more than fine.

Still a good step - can be an important impact sub at the moment because the front group that started are our best.

70% positive 30% negative in my randomly made up review of his cameo.

The 30% negative could actually have been positives but for starting a move well then inexplicably giving the ball away or poor choice with it when in great positions.

Overall a much improved half hour after recent weeks.

Glimpses of what a talent he is tonight although tbh it was the perfect scenario for him to come into.

Made some good decisions and some bad ones, needs to learn that when you play for City and you’re defending a lead late on the corner flag is your friend.

Showed some real bottle winning that 50 50 with that thug Rudiger, big credit to him for that

Our best player in the last 15. Only one that eased the pressure and carried us up the pitch. Played one great ball across that somebody should have been on the end of. Few poor decisions losing it a bit too easily but overall played an important role. Also did his defensive duty much better than Cherki and gave Nunes some much needed support.

It's posts like this which are just embarrassing. No matter what he does from here on out I bet you won't praise him. He's been awful as of late but what exactly did you want him to do tonight? It was a great sub cameo.
