2026 World Cup Draw - Friday 5pm (UK time)

With 4/5k tickets a game they will sell out.

If England get to the final there will be more than 1,125 people who will pay £6.5k for a ticket.

Some games have half the tickets at $60/£45, which is close to the median for an adult PL season ticket pro rata at CoMS.
Not sure where you're seeing those stats but theyre not right. They have Category 1,2,3,4 tickets tiers. Cat 4 are the cheapest at £45 - £79 so you think great, but when you look at a stadium map there are very very few Cat 4 seats - think hundreds not thousands. I'd say over 85% are Cat 1 and 2. BBC has a pretty good article and shows some stadium seat maps for reference. basically its a fucking rip off. See the Dallas stadium as an example below. I think England play Croatia there.

A lot of complaining but no one doing anything. The England FSA need to be very vocal and join with other European nations to boycott this farce.
For my part I will not watch any match including England that will have Foden and O'Reilly in the side. The greed, the seeding, the piss prize everything about it stinks.

The prices in the table on the BBC site are at odds with the info given to England supporters.

For example the most expensive final ticket to England fans is £6,510, but the most expensive ticket for the final according the the BBC is £5,915.

So its even worse? Crazy pricing mate.

I remember when the USA World Cup was announced and the joke was that the Yanks would try and split the game into quarters for more advertising opportunities.

Lo and behold !

Wait for UEFA to introduce the same at the next Euros.

is anyone on here risking going to a game in america?
I registered interest with England prior to the ticket prices being announced. Based on the initial data feedback it’s circa 32+ caps and I would not qualify outright. Out on 2 counts - price and caps.

Will focus on going to the Euros I think including England at the Etihad.

What tickets cost in 1994

  • Group-stage matches: roughly $25–$35
  • Knockout rounds: about $50–$75
  • Final (Rose Bowl): around $75 (top-end seats)

~$75 final ticket would be about $150–$170 today

And does anyone actually believe it will only be a 3 minute water break

New info issued

FIFA has announced the introduction of a new Supporter Entry Tier category for association ticket allocations for FIFA World Cup 2026, priced at $60 (USD) per ticket.

This tier will represent approximately 10% of each participating nation’s match supporter allocation and will be taken from the existing Supporter Value Tier category.

For WC 1994 Final Cat 1 was $475, Cat 2 $300 and the lowest Cat 3 was $180.

For the Euro 96 final I had a backless cheap ticket for £70, but the group games cost that much in Japan.

I have tickets from USA 94 and the above is well off the mark. There were complaints about Japan but it was £200 a night cheapest hotel and £700 flights, and that was in 2001, so the tickets prices were the least of people's worries. Everything was expensive bar transport there as venues were close together, it was like going from central london to Chelsea, Reading and Stoke avoiding non-Honshu venues. 3 group games for a budget £4.5k.
