That was a big moment because 2-1 was looking far more likely at that point than 3-0.

I think it would have been an even bigger moment for him, had he finished it. I thought trying to go around the keeper and on to his non-existent right foot, was a strange choice from him.

I wouldn’t be against Pep trying him more central where Reijnders played today.

I think going around and taking on the keeper shows a lot more confidence.
Having said that, scoring directly may have gee'd him up a bit more.

Majority of forward players through on goal there would score. Sterling was a no from the moment he got the ball. Savinho gives the same vibes. But it was a good run and he got a penalty so he did well.

I don't really rate him based on what we have seen so far, but he did OK with his run to win the pen on Sunday. Hopefully he can keep improving.
