Well? Who did he sell it to, and how much for? :-pCity are emailing fans whose tickets got rejected at Madrid for incorrect details.
Seen one of the emails today my mate got sent.....who did you sell it to? How much for? Etc.
Were there not names printed on them and you had to show your passport with them ? That's a question rather than a statement. What was the process for entering the ground? How were tickets rejected for incorrect details?
Do we know how long the ban is?And if they don't come up with a plausible answer, they are going to get banned.
Wow. Not experiencing that myself. I’m still sitting with the same gang that moved up from the Kippax into the new stadium. The only replaceable part of the club supporter equation is the supporter, we are not only replaceable, the club would actively encourage this scenario.
Legacy fan = (relatively) stagnant ticket prices and low matchday revenue potential
Nouveau fan = higher ticket price and considerably higher matchday revenue potential
The only role that legacy fans have that is of benefit to the club is the atmosphere, we are little more than extras in a TV production. Think of this the next time Pep, or one of the boys comes over to the touchline waving their arms exhorting an increase in volume from the fans.
As the old saying goes 'if you'll sup with the devil, use a long spoon'.
It's because it wasn't a popular trip. We've played Madrid so many times recently that the demand wasn't there this time. I'm all in favour of clamping down on high pointers passing on tickets to people who don't have enough points to wait their turn to apply.Unless you support another team or have literally never been to a City game I just don't understand why you would need to utilise someone else's ticket.
My partner is a member who goes to a couple of midweek matches per season, so I had to wait until she was eligible (I've got 28,000 points) to buy 2 seats together
The following day, tickets went on open sale.
We both took our passports to the stadium and both were checked alongside the name on the ticket (written in biro) by Spanish Security
Another urban myth, most of the high point supporter's dont hand their tickets on, they attend the game. It's because it wasn't a popular trip. I agree with that too. I was having a drink at Lancs CCC after the Derby last season and got talking to two lads from an OSC in the South West. Memberships only and just 1000 points each. How did they get tickets for the Swamp?Another urban myth, most of the high point supporter's dont hand their tickets on, they attend the game.
How about being in favour of the tickets that dont get sold through the loyalty scheme not getting passed on to all and sundry by the club.
