Would this also apply to hospitality/corporate ST holders passing or selling tickets to mates and clients?
The names were hand written, had to match your id,and were checked with a light to see if it was changedWere there not names printed on them and you had to show your passport with them ? That's a question rather than a statement.
...didn't sell it, gave it away
You 2 clearly haven't dealt with the new regime at City.easy - just say no one - I didnt sell it. . "Turned up but left my ID in hotel so they wouldn`t let me in."
I would just tell the club it was me, I was drunk and lost or forgot my ID and then demand I get a refund for the ticket as I wasn’t made explicitly aware I needed ID to enter the ground.City are emailing fans whose tickets got rejected at Madrid for incorrect details.
Seen one of the emails today my mate got sent.....who did you sell it to? How much for? Etc.
It's because it wasn't a popular trip. We've played Madrid so many times recently that the demand wasn't there this time. I'm all in favour of clamping down on high pointers passing on tickets to people who don't have enough points to wait their turn to apply.
Interesting that you confirmed they are still checking? Its clear on the criteria but its gone very quiet with people confirming they have been pulled for collectionDo we know how long the ban is?
I had to collect at Newcastle but they wouldn't tell me what would happen If I didn't
I would have thought because the OSC receives an allocationI agree with that too. I was having a drink at Lancs CCC after the Derby last season and got talking to two lads from an OSC in the South West. Memberships only and just 1000 points each. How did they get tickets for the Swamp?
Had someone on here asking for a pen ..They are printed tickets at Madrid & they write your name on them.
You get checked outside for ID matching the name on that ticket & if you'd tried to alter it with magic marker remover
Think we've got c.90 members in our OSC. We were allocated 1 ticket for the swamp DerbyI agree with that too. Sold to a tourist with a half and half scarf for €500 with a bag of scampi thrown in. But told them they would have to make their own way to the stadium!!!!!City are emailing fans whose tickets got rejected at Madrid for incorrect details.

So you think someone with a membership and 1000 points should be getting a ticket ahead of a season ticket holder with, say, 20000 points?I would have thought because the OSC receives an allocation
I got an email week of the game confirming I had to collect. For Newcastle the tickets were digital but in the email it states I had to collect at the away ticket office. I asked what happened If I couldn't collect but they never gave me an answer.Interesting that you confirmed they are still checking? Its clear on the criteria but its gone very quiet with people confirming they have been pulled for collection
Did they tell u prior or just wipe the ticket with a paper one waiting for you at the ticket office in the toon
That really isn't the point. The OSC gets an allocation and that gets distributed according to the branch criteria. It's been the case for as long as I remember. No one thought it was a problem prior to 2012.So you think someone with a membership and 1000 points should be getting a ticket ahead of a season ticket holder with, say, 20000 points?
