Viagogo, Sportsbreak, P1 travel etc…..well you didn’t do your job tonight did you?

You can’t get City’s cock in your mouth quick enough when it comes to United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea tickets.

You fuckers should not be anywhere near tickets for the big games if you can’t pull your finger out and work hard to sell tickets for these kind of games.

Give me 500 tickets for United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea and i would sell them for a huge profit without any experience

The club are twat’s for unzipping and getting it’s cock out in the first place

No Barcelona fans tonight?

What a shambles

Fair play to everyone who went tonight - give yourselves a pat on the back

There were thousands of seats on sale from the club. I don't understand your point. If fans want tickets, they can buy them. As it was I thought it was a decent crowd. There were only 1500 away fans.

My disappointment was with the atmosphere. There was more noise from the children in the North Stand than the South Stand. And when the fans and Pep walked round at the end of the game, the stands were almost empty. Our support has grown very comfortable.

It was tongue in cheek for the fact that thousands of tickets for every game are passed to these companies and true City fans miss out and give up going.

Tonight for example.

Where are all these Viagogo customers when it’s a not-so-glamorous games.

If City can’t sell them direct to supporters why get “a partner” to try and do it for you?

Are they City fans or not? Think we all know the answer

I do think apathy and feeling comfortable is playing a part, but I also think our long term core support is gradually decreasing after years of price increases. I know it was cheaper tonight, but once you get out of the habit most people call it quits.

The club have also been chasing corporate tickets as well, as you can see it for league games with rows of empty seats in some sections

Indeed!

Ticket tout companies a blight to English football and gig attending, they’ve made English football and going to gigs worse!

But someone will come along in a minute to tell us how great these ticket tout cunts are, how great the club is for getting involved with so many of them, how great it is to have a load of nobodies in our ground for PL+CL games when proper Blues have been priced out, how great it is that we had a load of empty seats tonight because the tourists couldn’t be arsed and the fans who’ve been priced out have got used to not going anymore, and that we’re all spoilt and ungrateful for moaning about it.

There were loads of seats on sale through the usual channels.

So what’s the point in having a Ticket Tout Company?

This is the kind of game why you pay Viagogo etc…to sell tickets for you.

The club can sell tickets for United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea 100 times over themselves free of charge

Don’t most of those companies just sell packages (with travel and/or accommodation) or tickets in overseas territories?

Genuine question, I don’t really look at them but good luck getting overseas tourists to visit Manchester to watch Brentford play our second string in the fourth most important competition if so.

Agree with the general point re the resale companies but since when did it become mandatory to sell out every single match and stay in your seat until the players have left the pitch like they are royalty or something?

No money in it for them as no-one will pay inflated prices.
For the Liverpool game the guy who sits next to me sold his wife's ticket on the exchange for £25.00. The guy who bought it and was sitting next to us paid £200 for the ticket as a 60th Bday present to himself! The club is making a nice healthy extra profit there as is the resale company. Thankfully the Govt is banning this sort of practice next year due to the brazen greed being shown by resale companies but I fully expect ticket prices for to be hiked as a result. The club is actively looking at new ways to shaft the fans which is disappointing to say the least.

I stayed behind for 5 mins after the game when the players and Pep did a lap to thank the fans. The numbers who stayed behind were pitiful. I moved down the stairwell to the front to clap and the guy next to me turned to me to say this is embarrassing, and it was.

It wasn't a great turnout, and it was very quiet. A lot of City fans come up with all kinds of excuses but it's your decision how you behave. Collectively we can choose to make a difference. The atmosphere is in our heads.
