HahaCole Palmer fanboys nursing their semis and urging Enzo to "bring him home"
Let's hope that he's not.Yep, no chance. Pep will be the best we'll ever see at City

Ducker is manyoo fan from Sheffield, and a shit journalist !Because the rags have the more settled managerial structure?
I hope the next manager has the same balance....Pep has to be replaced. After this season, the following season or the season after. It's just inevitable.
Anyone else is a step down in many ways but not all. Pep isn't the infallible strategist and tactician I once thought he was. He has got plenty wrong over long periods of time to balance with the more things he has got right over a long period of time.
I welcome the new chapter whenever it happens. A new manager is always exciting. I would respectfully thank Pep as we have great managers and players in the past but I don't think we should be lighting candles and such.
I don't know who are the decent managers out there so I've no idea how likely any are to succeed at City but I'd back them and scrutinize them as I have all managers we've had... I loved many and Pep will definitely be amongst the ones I loved the most.
YepWe must be doing well.
Haaland, Foden & Donna at their peak, Josko, Khusa, Doku & Cherki maturing nicely … why wouldn’t he renew?I want Pep to extend further beyond 2027 though.
I'm gonna take a bit of convincing too ..Fuck that. Don't think he's shown much to say he'd be up to the job.
Hard to judge at Chelsea, I'll grant that.
He is indeed doing amazingly. The style of football he gets Bournemouth playing tells me he can get a bigger club with a bigger budget playing even better. I think he is a great manager who is primed for the very top of the game.Iraola is at bloody Bournemouth, their ground holds 11.5k! He's doing amazingly.
Possibly he could do with a stepping stone before us, but Bayern took Kompany after he'd been relegated with Burnley, because they knew the way he played would work with better players. Iraola could be similar.
That's comforting :DWhoever we get will be a downgrade.
