What has the UK become under the far right influence?

Tommy was there to support his mate Tate who was fighting in Dubai. That's the same Tate who has an arrest warrant out on 29 Charges for trafficking women and sexual violence. Doesn't quite fit with Tommy's concern with protecting women in the UK but never mind.. that's Tommy for you. Tommy took his young children with him on the trip to that den of Muslim fanatics, child molesters etc... that's Tommy's for you

Dunno if you have seen but Tate is now saying he was "gassed after 2 rounds because he smokes cigars and drinks and had been in a Romanian dungeon" and had that not been the case he would have won. Fucking logic there eh?
Having said that Jake Paul is also saying he won the first 2 rounds and AJ won the others and had that been reversed he would have won. Delusional beyond belief but like all these "alpha males" they can't accept they are losers

Surely that's a character? If Chris Morris isn't behind that, I'll eat my hat.

Seems his name is Charles Amos and this isn't close to the maddest thing he's said (sibling marriage anyone?) so it's entirely possible he's some sort of CM instigated performance art.

If it turns out he's real its further proof we might all be best served by reverting back to the days of 56k modems and individuals like Mr Amos can go and do historical reenactment or model trains or whatever would have kept him out of mischief back in the day.

It was worth a quick check.
In 2020, Mr Amos was removed from the presidency of the King’s College London Conservative Association for making “insulting” comments on gender equality and racism. Mr Amos was originally a prominent figure in Ukip’s youth wing Young Independence. In 2015 he was featured in a Channel 4 documentary as a 15-year-old activist for the party.
He was elected to East Grinstead Town Council in 2019 as a Conservative candidate. But he was thrown out of the party months later after he objected to a Tory-backed council tax increase. Yet he featured in an article this year in The Times on Young Tories!

And his latest achievement: Co-opted onto his parish council in Eynsham, Oxfordshire - "I made a pitch to be co-opted and was unanimously approved. Not having to stand for election makes politics a lot easier"... It doesn't make you competent: "Nothing has surprised me bar parish council tax being higher than district council tax" (parish precept is only 5% of the total district council tax). He's an accountant. Once in UKIP.

quick Q&A with our new Councillor

Why did you want to join Eynsham Parish Council?

I take a strong interest in ensuring the cause of lower taxes triumphs in local politics.

How long have you lived in Eynsham?

I have lived in the village since May 2025.

What do you like most about Eynsham?

The aesthetic and the wide range of pubs.

What was the experience of joining as a Councillor like?

The experience was easy insofar as I made a pitch to be co-opted and was unanimously approved. Not having to stand for election makes politics a lot easier.

Has anything surprised you about local governance since you joined the Parish Council?

Nothing has surprised me bar parish council tax being higher than district council tax.

What do you hope to achieve by being a Councillor?

Lower taxes for residents and a parish council which is much leaner due to it providing fewer public services. I’d also like to support house building in the village to increase the affordability of homes.

What do you think are the positives of having local governance authorities like Parish Councils?

They are less remote from the people than county councils.

What do you do for work?

I work as a bookkeeper for a logistics company.

What do you enjoy about your work?

Thinking of ways to increase the profitability of the company through the analysis of financial data and listening to my choice of music.

What do you do in your spare time?

I write a political and moral theory blog and listen to Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.

N.B. All views and opinions expressed in this Q&A are Cllr Charles’ own and do not reflect views held by Eynsham Parish Council.
