Already "fairly" is certain not to happen - Trump has moved fast to secure control of the media. look at what's happening with CBS right now and already with Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, WaPo, ongoing with TikTok.

How "free" - in hand to intimidate ethnic minorities off the streets and plenty more to come there given ICE budgets. Gerrymandering in progress as far as possible. Physical intimidation of opponents well established.

I am not sure if there is enough time between now and the midterms to build the support infrastructure to impart such tactics nationwide in all the races that matter. And he also won’t be on the ballot which should dampen cult member turnout. But of course none of what he’s been trying to do is right or fair anyhow.

Donald Trump has sparked a fresh row with Denmark after appointing a special envoy to Greenland, the vast Arctic island he has said he would like to annex.

Trump announced on Sunday that Jeff Landry, the Republican governor of Louisiana, would become the US's special envoy to Greenland, a semi-autonomous part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Gov Landry said in a post on X it was an honour to serve in a "volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the US".

Tiny bit more complex than that.

1. Hedge funds love low interest loans so they don't gamble with leverage with their own money and get 3x or 5x returns (like when Barron his son tanked the crypto market and made 1.4 billion) details here:

If hedge funds lose.. they can just use that cheap money to pay Trump for a bailout like he did with Argentina (notice money doesn't go to Argentina but actually the billionaires who's hedge funds invested there)

2. With low interest rates.. people know they can't just put their money in HYSA (high yield savings accounts/ Certificates of Deposits) or Bonds for decent returns to account for inflation. They are basically forced into the stock market to gamble which is a good way for the hedge funds/ billionaires who were there before to sell off their stocks for massive profits and leave the little guy holding the bag when a massive correction happens.. driving them into financial ruin.

Basically their plan is.. your votes do not matter due to gerrymandering.. you're squeezed financially where you will own nothing.. you will have to rent everything.. and you will get no healthcare.. you will still pay taxes to them.

Oh and you cannot tell to the fuck off by being gay/ bi/ trans or anything.. you will still have to make babies, raise them so they can exploit the next generation while they dismantle the department of education so the new generation don't understand what is happening to them.




Sounds comical.. all conspiracy.. totally off the wall bonkers stuff but it is the reality we live in!
 
Posters will say it won't happen but, if The Orange Shit Gibbon did invade Greenland I don't see Denmark, the e.u. or Nato doing anything more than shouting.
The sad fact is, Europe is too split politically, sanctions could not (effectively) be imposed and we are already stretched by the invasion of Ukraine.
They already have a large airbase there and it would he relatively easy to seize the main airport

For anything to be done takes the opposition to be organised. Trump’s administration is consciously making all opposition “enemies of the state”, and as soon as there’s any sign of an uprising against Trump it will get squashed by one of his goon squads with the support of the judiciary.

There is some. Infighting at Turning Point; the GOP defectors in the Indiana gerrymandering attempt; MTG; some other GOP Congresspeople retiring; some internal cognition that Trump doesn’t give a fuck about supporting the rest of the GOP at the midterms; the Epstein dilemma. It’s not all peaches and cream for MAGA and other Republicans.

They won't.

Remember MAGA has fired all people in the military that had ethics and are court marshalling former officers who say to the current military.. "Don't do illegal stuff exposing yourself to risks".
