He can shoot the ball, I'll give him that.

Can't play lone 9 though, he's better off the left, probably rotating with Doku.
 
Absolutely lethal finisher. Wish we’d see him more often. Pep needs to let him play out wide, if it’s between him and Haaland up top then he’ll never get a chance
 
Honestly hoping this just let's him gain form.

Egypt will probably go until the end, so Doku will be back by then, and will still need rotation at some point.

And looking at our last game, Reijnders at the 10 was basically a second striker, he didn't even try to create anything.

Marmoush would be suited there as well, id like to see him play more with Haaland than just in his place.
 
It seems like a Jovetic situation.

He's obviously a decent striker in the right setup, where he plays with another striker, but not many teams do that anymore. If Semenyo comes in it may be curtains for him.
 
I don’t think the club knows how to fully get the best out of him. Newcastle game is the only way I’ve seen him perform well. All round for himself and the team. I have no idea what happens now if we get Semenyo. He’s on 300k a week. He’s not gonna get that anywhere but this could be an Alvarez situation. Semenyo is different because he’s actually a two way winger. I think he will go although I love his ball striking I think he would do well in team that plays two strikers.

Possibly in the summer. If Semenyo comes in, Bobb will be the first to go imo

That goal v Zimbabwe won't happen in the PL I'm afraid.

I like Marmoush, he's obviously a really good player but Pep just doesn't seem to rate him for whatever reason.

Personally, I think he's a good player but he's in the wrong team. He just doesn't look quite right playing wide for us and I don't think he's quite what we need if he plays on his own up front.

I suspect he could be moved out if Semenyo is available. Shame as I do rate him, and he will do well in another team.
 
He started the match as a striker, then, around the 30th minute, his coach replaced midfielder Achour with Mohamed Moustapha. Marmoush then played in a supporting role, as a second striker, thus enjoying greater freedom. He was Egypt's best player, nearly opening the scoring with a powerful 30-meter shot, but the goalkeeper made a fine save. Delivering a remarkable performance, he equalized for Egypt, who were in serious trouble, with Salah virtually invisible until his goal in the 90th minute.
