FA Cup | Round 3 | Exeter H | Sat 10 Jan 15:00

I had a quick look on City's ticket site and it looks like ticket sales are going well. Exeter have been allocated 7,800 in the top tiers of the South Stand and with a Saturday 3pm KO, I am hoping that they will sell that out.

Exeter fans should make it a good day out for everyone i.e., there should be some noise!

All fun and games until they score. :-(

I've just got 4 tickets in home end block 325. Plenty of availability, on general sale and easy to register

there's plenty of availability in the home end. Just registered and got 4 tickets in the basket.

There will be plenty of tickets in the home end for anyone who has missed out. A word of warning though, last year some argyle fans who had purchased tickets in the home end using a PL postcode, had their tickets cancelled by Man City. So if you're going in the home end, use a friend or family member's address that isn't in Devon!

Why the fuck don't City cancel any memberships bought after the draw or better still say only members who bought before November 1 or some other date.

Do you think it's likely these type of sales would be cancelled? Can envisage anything up to another 1,000 in the home end as a lot have missed out due to gambling on getting the better views on general sale...

Oh. It's sold out now lol

UTC, never underestimate Devon followings haha (I remember someone comparing us to Salford ffs)

What you need is some of these "fans" to actually turn up more regularly for league games.

Enjoy the day out and if youre in the 3rd tier bring your binoculars with you.

They cancelled plenty for Plymouth who tried the same tricks. I suspect that anyone who bought a membership after the draw will have their tickets cancelled.

With respect, you average around 6.6k for a home game which will include away fans. You have an allocation of nearly 8k so everyone who goes on a regular basis should have been able to purchase a ticket. Salford sold out their allocation and then took about 200 to their next away game and currently average 3k including away fans. They moaned the allocation wasn't big enough.

I get its a big game for you and you have a great away following but for proper fans who should have sorted their tickets out of the allocation given there is no need to go in the home ends and risk booking a hotel etc and then having your tickets cancelled.

Not being harsh but it's the reality.

EDIT: Last season, your average away following was 490 although I accept the average distance per journey was 427 miles which is like us travelling to Stamford Bridge every game

No membership is required for this game. It’s on general sale so just need to register and you can have up to 6 tickets straight away. Piece of piss for Exeter fans to get them in the home end.

Maybe City weren’t expecting the away end to sell out and so didn’t think it would be an issue.

So maybe any registered in the last few weeks will have their tickets cancelled. Given that Plymouth sold out City must have had a good idea that Exeter will especially if Exeter had asked for the full allocation

Our average is 6,621 we have 5,800 trust members - not everyone can go week in week out so the vast majority going do that? No doubt with some family in tow and potential new City fans

Pointless putting down a club that is out on a limb in farmerland in a small city

I've said it before but we have way more character than the likes of Mansfield

Devon derby most underrated in the country

The distances travelled by Devon clubs is massive, everyone else gets comfy trips in the league and plenty of them

Luckily we decided to buy ours in the top tier in the end which will be with the diehards, further away but more my thing

Lots of families in those lower blocks no doubt

People need to calm down, there's not going to be thousands of Exeter fans in the home end.

Any Exeter fan who wanted a ticket in the away end will have got one.
