Best City Football you've seen?

In view of the calibre and pedigree of our opponents then nothing will ever come near the 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the 22-23 CL Semi Final

However there was a period around November/December 17-18 when in the space of 7 days, we comfortably beat United, Swansea and then Tottenham whilst rotating 3-4 players each time almost unnoticed.

For the Tottenham game we missed a penalty and hit the woodwork on numerous occasions but were still cruising at 4-0 with at least 10 minutes remaining

I remember walking back to Piccadilly with some Tottenham fans and they were acting like we did in 00-01 after being thrashed at Arsenal and West Ham and just being thankful that it wasn't embarrassingly worse.

Apart from the Madrid 4-0, the 1-6 was something else. I never thought I'd ever see us absolutely batter them at OT with Fergie having the best seat in the house to watch it. To this day, that pass from David Silva to Dzeko is the best pass I have ever seen.

Whilst Pep has given us some incredible moments, the football we played under KK was off the scale. Watching Benarbia, Berkovic and SWP rip teams apart was absolutely sensational. I really wish KK would come back, football needs characters like him. A proper entertainer.

There was a Christmas period sometime in the 60's where we playerd Scunthorpe 'n Rotheram - one of 'em twice, as yer did in those days - and the three matches returned an 8, a 6, 'n a 4! Can't remember the quality of the football but never mind the quality feel the goals.
It was Scunny '63. I know someone who went to the home game, then on the back of that result his first away game 2 days later.

Odd take given the all conquering Pep era but being dragged up watching what I had to in the 90s, two championship results under Keegan really stand out given the flowing football we played and that’s away at Sheffield Wednesday winning 6-2 and an early season win at Burnley given they where top (I think) at the time and it was another turf moor hat trick for the Goat in a 4-2 win

I think some of the stuff we played under Keegan was sublime,Berkovic and Bernarbia pulling the strings….i remember having ITV Digital at the time….nearly EVERY game was on their sports channel

Silva, that day at Old Trafford, was sublime. I'd go so far as to say it was the greatest individual performance of the Premier League era. So were Dzeko, Balotelli, Aguero and a few others great that day, in fairness..
Therefore, slapped arse twat Gary Neville gave Man of the Match - after a 1-6 away victory - to one of City's full backs.

Loads of great moments. As somebody said the hammering of Stoke was nuts, we were scoring so many that quickly a lot of us actually lost count. Our passing and movement was something else.

The best though was undoubtedly the Madrid game in the treble season. The atmosphere, the performance given the opposition we were playing at as our of this world. We could easily have been 5-0 up at the break. What a game, what a performance, what a night.
I lost count, and only realised last week it was 7-2 not 6-2 when discussing it with a mate I was at the game with.

The 1977 game against AC milan at home, we played some fantastic football, Peter Barnes was unplayable in that game as was the next game, in the cup I think against Blackpool.

But for me nothing will even come close to the Real Madrid Semi final in the treble winning season, that was football from a different planet, we were off the scale that night:-)

Like the title says, I'm curious what is the best football you've seen City play?

For example, many point to the first half against Madrid, on the way to the treble, as the best football city okay. Some might point to the 2-1 Liverpool game that had the Stones clearance.

What are some of the best/top city footballing moments for you? Something that got out of your seat or in retrospect made you think you are likely watching greatness. Could be a moment, half, full game, etc..
Smashing real and bayern one after the other.
Oddly enough, that semi final performance left me dumbstruck and firmly stuck in my seat. Unbelievably good from City.
