There is no telling whether he would thrive in Peps system, usually wingers take 1-2 seasons to adapt. Are we buying him long term or are we expecting him to make an instant impact? He is doing very well at Brentford however if we get him and he doesn't immediately hit it off fans will turn on him again not realizing that most players take 1-2 seasons to adapt. So the question is why are we getting him?

The fact that I don't see 'it' with him means he'll likely turn out to be a good signing if it does happen.
True but think about the bigger picture. In UCL KO fixtures we will need goalscorers from every area of the pitch.Does it matter who scores as long as we do?
