FA Cup | Round 3 | Exeter H | Sat 10 Jan 15:00

People need to calm down, there's not going to be thousands of Exeter fans in the home end.

Any Exeter fan who wanted a ticket in the away end will have got one.

I beg to differ, I know numerous people having to go that route - majority will be people with family members who weren't in a priority group so no trouble

Our priority is based on membership to the Trust rather than season tickets (controversially)

There's a % of ST holders who aren't Trust members for whatever reason (usually not interested in the "politics") c30% of 3,200

5,800 Trust members, plus that 30% of STs (around 1k), doesn't include those who are neither of which there will be a decent chunk you can see why they flew out the door on general sale

The issue has been that many people will have been Trust members and have gold/silver/bronze priority but wouldn't have been able to purchase tickets with friends who didn't have priority

Because the general sale went so quickly there's likely a fair chunk of people who now don't have tickets but are diehards so will travel for the home end

I know there were doubts over whether we could sell the end, but tbh if it was 10,000 I think we'd have still done it, we took near enough that to Old Trafford when were were 5th tier

Bollox !!maybe about 20/30

If it's so easy for Exeter fans to get tickets in the home sections then it must be easy for priced-out City fans, lapsed City fans, "odd kick- off time" moaning City fans and any other fucking excuse City fans to get tickets.
It's cheap so get off your arses and support the boys.
Or just stick to the can't get a ticket excuse which really means don't want to go to games, just like fans of our nauseating neighbours have been doing for the past five or six decades.

There's 50k ish sold already 18 days before the match, and it will sell out before the years out so it looks like those

Will they go up when Exeter score ?

Probably not given that they are going to be families as those are the are the ones that were holding on for middle tier tickets once they were on general and have missed out

Don't see too much trouble at Exeter games these days!

Just remember, if they are letting this happen for Exeter at home, just imagine what they've done for Galatasary
So what. Its the FA Cup. Exeter is hardly a high risk match. If City fans were slow off the mark tough shit. Over the years i have been to numerous City games in the FA Cup and ended up in home sections. There has been very little trouble. I can assure you I will not be the slightest bit bothered abut a few Exeter fans having a good day out.

Think it's pretty awesome you've shifted a good amount of tickets, would much rather see a full ground

Old Trafford wouldn't have been full in 2005 if it wasn't for Champions League vouchers for the Milan game that were sold with the tickets - we know we aren't a big draw :D

Indeed, remember that your club is the draw here - us yokels are coming up to see your facilities and stadium of which I've heard good things. People aren't going to be looking for trouble or taking the piss in the home end like we do in Torquay ;)

Don't get me wrong I do like a Tuesday night trip to somewhere dire like Port Vale but the contrast of the FA Cup is what makes it fun

You will have a great time and will be welcomed by all proper City fans. Make sure you have plenty of beers in the Northern Quarter where all the best pubs are. That's the best area pre and post match.

Why didn't these "numerous" people just buy their tickets before it went to general sale?? There was a full week of sales to Season Ticket holders and members!

Because it was one ticket per person

If you've got a son or daughter who aren't yet signed up or grandad who doesn't understand or like The Trust that isn't a member then you were bang out of luck to buy as a group until general

We sold 5,800 at 1pp

General sales allowed 4pp, hence easier for group bookings as well as getting a better view in the middle tier

We're a fan-owned club but that doesn't mean everyone is on board with that as a model and structure and therefore there are a fair number of City fans who aren't part of The Trust and don't get priority for the big games - they will still want to travel. Not being a member doesn't make them less of a fan in my eyes, I know a lot of regulars who aren't.

Should they pay their subs? I'm on the fence about our current model but pay my £ because I want to retain my gold membership (5+ yrs) over anything else

ST holders only count as bronze so only had 1 or 2 days I believe - and again 1pp, so if you wanted to take your mrs you were going to have to wait until general
