On the face of it I would support the signing. I think he is right footed. Might be wrong.

He is right-footed, but very competent with his left and has played on the left side of a three at Palace. Can basically play in all 4 positions in our back-line if we want a more defensive full-back

In all the times Palace have been at The Etihad and any games I've ever watched them on TV, I've never thought "that Palace centre half looks a player". I've never noticed him in any game for Palace or England

I agree but, maybe it's Gareth Barry syndrome?

He always looked distinctly average until he played in our system.

Guehi and Semenyo makes a huge difference. I’m confident we’ll be competing on all fronts if we sign them both.

Still think Nunes can do a good with Nico G and we can use Rico and Khusanov to rotate with Nunes at RB if needed.

I think you are right with Josko he’s not had to play there for a while.

That Bournemouth game changed Pep’s thinking. We had no out ball down the left side of our build up and Khusanov was then pressured into making hurried passes.

Dias switched to the right side, Josko moved to the left side, NOR at left back and we mullered them in the second half.

Not allowed in the premier league, you can only do that if the player if from another league.

I'd take him. He's a solid player. I think he is right footed but he would be comfortable on the left!

I really wish Dias wasn’t under contract until 2029. I can’t see him sitting Dias or gvardiol. What would happen with this guy? He’s too good to not play a lot and I’m sure he realizes that.
