We may well be doing so behind the scenes and we just don't know about it but I wish/hope we are working on a central midfielder just as hard as we seemingly are on this, that surely has to be the priority for the window.

Semenyo is a good player, I like him but I dont see the urgent need for him, he doesnt get into our current best 11 imo and he surely isnt going to be content with a bit part role.

Whilst he may prove to be a decent signing, a midfield player is the priority imo.

Anderson would be a very solid signing if it could be achieved.

Our first XI is strong but we lack depth so we can rotate/rest players without the quality dropping significantly. Semenyo helps us with that, is currently a big upgrade on Savinho/Bobb (even if they have talent/potential) and offers a goal threat. Him being homegrown is also a big plus. Whats not to like?
