Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

98 PL matches - 28 goals in the last 3 seasons.
This season he is currently, 16 matches - 8 goals.

Good chance he would get improved stats in a better side. Big, strong and fast. The physical presence of him and Haaland together would be hard to deal with for most teams.

Love the Sky sports news reporting "manchester city emerge as the frontrunner for semenyo" acting like its a horse race and we've stormed to the front from nowhere when everybody else has seen us leading from the start.

It's not LW we're trying to improve.

Cherki is not our permanent RW. Savinho is a long way off. Bobb is one foot out the door.

At worst this is a very good depth signing.
If cherki isn't our permanent RW option, what is he because he doesn't displace Foden centrally and that is the only way you can get both into a healthy side.

One thing is certain, we’ll be an exciting side to watch, with a team that can be devastating on the counterattack. At the same time, we have the quality to control games through sharp, composed possession with the likes of Cherki, Nico G, Foden, Bernardo and Reijnders. It’s now about Pep continuing to add layers and variation to our play so we can win all types of games.

Semenyo can play both sides. Imagine him and Doku out wide supporting Haaland upfront. So much pace and physicality.

When he is playing for a side whose opponents park the bus every week his stats might actually drop considerably.

Too slow for winger and yes he can replace anyone if he keeps improving or Pep finds a way to play both Foden and Cherki centrally

Ah the "I`ve dropped a bollock and how do I get out of this mess" retort. You know exactly what I meant and as I suspected you`ve seen fuck all of the lad but want to engage in a spat with everyone just for the sake of it.
Sweet dreams.
Are you still here? :)

I love how you make stuff up to suit your agenda..

He was never a winger
Early days but he’s potentially the best playmaker we’ve ever seen at this club

Yes i can understand that thinking but on the flip side he will be playing with better players week in week out and obviously being coached by the best , our style has slowly changed over the last 12 months and although we have less control of games sides are now attacking us more than before which opens us opportunities and space for us to exploit on the counter attack , suddenly we’d have Doku, Haaland and Semenyo full of pace and power which we haven’t had for years
