That's a possibility. I think Ake is great but the valuation related to contract length would seem equivalent.Swap for Ake?

Or even Stones, but Ake seems more likely due to his need to play to get back in the Dutch side.That's a possibility. I think Ake is great but the valuation related to contract length would seem equivalent.

Guehi just makes alot of sense, and in turn letting Ake start somewhere for the world cup as well.
He can obviously play in Gvardiols position as the LCB, but recently learning he is actually right footed and just plays LCB for Palace was quite interesting.
He also becomes depth at LB AND RB in the way Nunes makes a back 3, essentially, can play all across our backline which Ake couldn't do.
So he would plays loads of minutes for us in this way and be more useful than Ake.

Neither needs renewingI was for stones to be given renewal of contract than ake but lately I have reversed by opinion. We should renew ake not stones. Stones is never available when we need him. Much moore unavailable than ake is. And we need a title winning experienced defender as well so we have to renew one of them.

Why make a prediction like that? He's young and has spent the past year developing in an unfamiliar role to the extent of becoming our starter & getting call ups to the national team.

Do not put Josko LB! He's a CB. He looked terrible when he was LB last season

That’s a mad statement to make seeing how comfortable he looks on the ball at left back. He’s easily good enough to play in midfield, but while he’s performing at LB, there’s no need for him to move up.O’Reilly is nowhere near the quality we need in midfield, he will never make it in that position with us, imo.
O Reilly has real quality. Think he will transition to midfield eventually but needs to learn how to use his size in midfield alongside having minutes to get used to that role he is unlikely to get quickly enough to make that move in next couple of seasons. Might start seeing him there in cup games and CL dead rubbers ( if there is such a thing now) or last parts of PL games that are in the bag. This season is about learning to play in one position at PL level which he is doing outstandingly well in so far.

Guehi is an all round good player but City's defence seems strong. Khusanov looks good and Reis is getting good reviews from La Liga.
